Our new Part # K0140 6T70/6F55 pump chain alignment tool is the 1st in a series of products that you will use on every one of these popular GM and Ford units. Its unique features allow you to size the converter stator sealing ring as well as align the pump gear, washers and chain onto the sprockets, keeping it taught and on the sprockets. When builders “flip” the unit over many times the pump drive gear and chain can become slack enough to let the chain drop off, once this occurs you can’t see or feel it and the unit gets finish built and in the car with a
No-move after re-build condition. Our tool stays in place for the rest of the build process and you can leave it in until you have it on the jack ready for the converter.
